As an Account Manager, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy being on location, building relationships, and establishing trust with the doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions every day.

You will lead a portfolio of Baxter Products for our Advanced Surgery Business across the Liverpool and Lancashire regional ICBs (excluding Manchester). You will be accountable for delivering on sales and profit targets and providing a high level of support and service to our NHS and Private Healthcare customers.

As our primary connection to the healthcare professionals who rely on our products to save and sustain lives, you are the face and voice of our solutions.

What you'll be doingAchieve agreed sales and financial targets in line with objectives for the geographical / business / assigned area of responsibility.Train and educate Healthcare professionals on the safe, appropriate and effective use of Baxter Products to ensure optimum patient outcomes.Sales data and market analyses advise activity and ensure a focused and results return on time.Contribute to the tender management process, including pre-tender-focused activity, tender submission, and post-tender follow-up.Developing collaborative relationships to defend existing business base, via customer support, service and differentiating solutions clinically and financially versus the competition.Individual and group selling skills, as well navigating a variety of customer types through the sales cycle.CRM systems support planning, sequential selling, and territory analyses.

What you'll bringEstablished record of delivering sales goals or quotas (several years at or above quota).Experience with value based sales approach.Confirmed selling skills in a direct sales environment within the NHS and Operating Theatres, or experience or working in the Clinical environment.ABPI desirable.Experience of working/supporting in a theatre environment.Strong business insight to support continued transformation.Demonstrate the ability to sell a comprehensive product portfolio whilst implementing appropriate prospecting strategies.Committed to unmatched consultative selling and closing skills.“Can do” attitude and sales knowledge which will aid in developing contacts, allowing you to introduce new products and work successfully to develop strategies.Has an appreciation for the sophisticated medical market and curiosity about developing trends and initiatives in the UK.
