Job Description
The Account Manager will focus on servicing one of the company’s largest and most strategic accounts, ensuring accurate order management, responsive customer support, and strong day-to-day communication. This role emphasizes relationship management and operational excellence rather than prospecting or cold calling, and offers strong job stability, comprehensive training, and a highly engaged, supportive culture.
Responsibilities
Manage and service a major key account as the primary point of contact for day-to-day needs.Enter customer orders accurately and promptly into the system.Expedite orders to meet customer timelines and proactively communicate any changes or delays.Create and process order addendums for the designated key account.Work within the Ariba Portal to manage and track orders and related documentation.Collaborate closely with engineers to support customer requirements and resolve issues.Provide responsive customer service through email as the primary communication channel, using phone calls for urgent or complex situations.Maintain detailed and organized records of orders, changes, and customer interactions.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with account contacts through reliable, consistent service.Support ongoing business growth by delivering high-quality service rather than engaging in prospecting or cold calling.Essential Skills
Proven experience in customer service, account management, sales support, or a related client-facing role.Hands-on experience with order processing and order entry in a professional environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and professional email communication.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Evidence of stable work history with demonstrated tenure in previous roles.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including engineering teams.Strong organizational skills and a commitment to follow-through on customer requests and deadlines.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the service industry, such as hospitality or retail, with a strong customer focus.Track record of promotion or increased responsibility in previous positions, demonstrating growth and initiative.Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Ariba Portal, or P21 is a plus but not required.Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a high standard of service.Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, engagement-focused culture that values mentoring and development.Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
