Account Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Food Service Equipment Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This position involves engaging with potential clients and promoting our industrial washing and sanitizing equipment.

Responsibilities

Research and identify potential leads through online research, social media, and industry events.Professionally represent the product line of industrial washing and sanitizing equipment to defined markets.Proactively make a high volume of outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to introduce products/services and qualify leads.Develop proposals and estimates for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.Evaluate cleaning applications, including customer cleaning studies with corresponding process requirements documentation.Create and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.Recommend improved parts/components to customers, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production.Maintain regular follow-up with potential leads and ensure timely communication.Update and maintain CRM systems with accurate and detailed information on leads and prospects.Conduct research on companies, industries, and trade event lists to create a strategic lead communication plan.Facilitate quotations, product samples, and deliveries.Work closely with the field service team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.Collaborate with and develop a network of distribution partners for certain product segments in the respective territory.Utilize customer service and negotiation skills to close deals.Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for appointments and qualified leads, and generate metrics to track progress.Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products, services, and cleaning applications.Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, competitors, and best practices for lead generation.Complete all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Minimum of two years of experience in outbound sales, cold-calling, lead generation, telemarketing, or appointment setting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.Proficiency in using lead generation tools and CRM software (e.g., Monday.com, Pipedrive, Goldmine).Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets and goals.Detail-oriented and analytical with experience in data-driven decision making.Personable and friendly, able to build rapport and establish connections.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Adaptable and flexible in response to changing business needs.Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.

Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite, allowing collaboration with technical teams, sales teams, and sales managers. There is potential for remote work occasionally, with a flexible schedule. The position offers opportunities for growth into outside sales or sales management roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
