**Account Manager, Abbott Rapid Diagnostics**

**Role Overview**
The Account Manager drives the adoption of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (RDx) solutions across primary and secondary care. The role focuses on developing key accounts, executing national strategies, and achieving sales targets by promoting the full RDx portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Grow markets and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
+ Identify and prioritize regional opportunities, building strong stakeholder relationships across healthcare settings.
+ Manage and expand a portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and proactive problem resolution.
+ Represent Abbott at congresses, presentations, and customer meetings.
+ Monitor competition, identify new business opportunities, and report insights to management.
+ Uphold and enhance Abbott’s image in the territory.
+ Drive long‑term strategic partnerships across primary and secondary care.
**Requirements**
+ Technical/scientific background (biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology, hematology, etc.).
+ Experience in medical laboratories or hospital environments.
+ Proven sales success in healthcare or biomedical sectors.
+ Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Fluent in Dutch and English.

+ Strong time management and ability to handle complex tasks.
+ Creative, results-driven, and collaborative.
**Frequent travel required.**
