About the role:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing existing Alumina and mining customer accounts to ensure long-term retention and account security through the implementation of structured, professional account management practices. The role also focuses on expanding application usage and enhancing profitability within the current customer base.

You will be responsible for:

Account Management

Conduct regular customer review meetings to ensure satisfaction and alignmentPrepare and submit weekly/monthly reports (or as required)Lead and deliver Return on Investment (ROI) initiatives for our valued customersMaintain customer management and service plans

Technical Services

Manage chemical applications on customer sitesPerform dosing equipment checks and calibrations as neededMonitor and manage inventory levelsConduct product screenings and evaluations

New Business Development

Execute new business initiatives with our customersBuild, manage, and maintain a robust opportunity pipelineDrive growth by expanding business with existing customers

Key Competencies & Requirements

Strong commitment to safety and hazard awarenessAlumina technical sales/service experience welcomedEffective troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesCustomer-focused and results-drivenWorks well independently and in teamsSelf-managed with strong prioritization skillsFlexible and willing to travel with valid driver’s licenseExperience with boilers and/or cooling towersBackground in sales, service, or account management (preferred)Degree in Chemistry, Science, or Chemical Engineering
