Please note: This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract covering parental leave.
About the Role
As an Account Manager at Aon, you’ll focus on building new business and deepening relationships with our clients. You’ll also provide expert broking support, working closely with clients, underwriters, and external partners to deliver the best possible solutions.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
+ Identifying opportunities for growth both within your existing client base and new business
+ Providing professional, accurate and efficient responses to client needs through liaison with external stakeholders
+ Preparing proposals for new business opportunities
+ Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
You’ll be a natural communicator who understands how to tailor to the situation, whether it be face to face, over the phone or through written correspondence. Ideally you will come from a similar background from within the industry and looking to be exposed to a wider range of offerings. This is a rural book, so experience in this feild is ideal.
A few key skills we look for:
+ Proven experience in insurance broking, with a current L5 General Insurance qualification
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
+ Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
