The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and managing a specific territory by meeting and exceeding sales, gross profit, and unit goals. Manage accounts to ensure advanced service and technical support to customers with consultative discussions on a regular and ongoing basis.

This position reports to the Country Sales Manager and is part of the Danish Team located in Brønshøj and will be working remotely to cover customers in Denmark.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Ensure that assigned territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goalsBuild account relationships beyond the buying level to ensure involvement of key decision makersCoordinate customer visits to provide technical information, product demonstration and/or technical seminar. Attend local vendor shows and company sponsored trade showsImplement account action plans, review performance and improve current account sales & support programs for the territoryAct as a resource for colleagues which may include coaching, mentoring, and training

The essential requirements of the job include:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical sales related jobMaster Degree or higher within Life ScienceNative Language Danish and fluent in English  A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel 2-3 days/week  Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently while also being a team player. 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel – 40-60% travel in Denmark, mainly Zealand.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Technical SalesChromatography
