Account Manager
Description We are looking for an attentive and organized Account Manager to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. This Contract to Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and exceptional client satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Process and update customer orders, ensuring accuracy and confirming product availability. • Collaborate with warehouse, delivery, and procurement teams to coordinate order fulfillment. • Monitor open orders and ensure timely completion of client requests. • Address product inquiries, manage backorders, and suggest substitutions when necessary. • Maintain and update customer records, including pricing and product information. • Provide support to sales representatives and assist with follow-ups on customer satisfaction. • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics GP to manage account information and order processes. • Analyze inventory data to assist with procurement and ensure stock availability. • Handle inbound inquiries related to product details, pricing changes, and account updates. • Contribute to improving customer experience by delivering prompt and attentive service. Requirements • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or account coordination. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables; familiarity with VLOOKUP is a plus. • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities. • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar CRM systems. • Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Background in the food industry or distribution is highly desirable. • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate records.
