Account Manager

C.H. Robinson is looking for an Account Manager to drive growth and retention within a defined customer portfolio. In this role, you will identify opportunities, stimulate demand, and promote tailored solutions through adept relationship-building and top-tier service. As a primary point of contact, you'll ensure timely delivery, troubleshoot concerns, and proactively seek enhancements while harnessing C.H. Robinson expertise to expand and retain the customer base. You’ll be empowered to manage and grow existing accounts by bringing forth new services, and expanding on existing services offered, with a focus on increasing efficiency, adding value, maximizing profitability through the account’s supply chain. Responsibilities:Develop account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within customer organizationsIdentify opportunities to further penetrate accounts by selling C.H. Robinson’s diverse portfolio of servicesDesign solutions and help our customers solve their supply chain challengesOversees successful completion of day to day commitmentsCollaborate with account leadership to develop pricing strategiesIdentify issues and consulting with the customer to determine best course of action and implement solutionsManage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of metricsCollaborate on creating business reviews and contribute to or lead customer meetings

Required Qualifications:High School diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of previous sales and/or account management experienceAbility to travel up to 25% (domestically)

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisionsStrong strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills (ability to persuade, motivate and influence others), and business acumenAbility to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent resultsStrong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgencyExcellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employeesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsValues a diverse and inclusive work environment

Compensation Range

$23.56 - $48.99

The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
