Description We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In this role, you will oversee purchasing and sales activities, utilizing your expertise in accounting systems and ERP solutions to drive operational efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: • Manage purchasing and sales processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. • Utilize ERP systems to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing. • Monitor accounts payable and other accounting functions to maintain financial accuracy. • Conduct regular reviews of buying processes and implement improvements as needed. • Provide training and support on accounting software systems to team members. • Analyze data from 3M and ERP solutions to inform decision-making. • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all purchasing activities. • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management regarding purchasing and sales performance. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP solutions. • Experience with 3M tools and IBM AS/400 platforms. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and other accounting functions. • Familiarity with purchasing processes and vendor management. • Excellent communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to analyze and interpret data to support decision-making. • A detail-oriented approach to managing financial transactions. • Previous experience in manufacturing or a related industry is preferred.
