As an Account Manager at DHL, you’ll manage, retain, develop and grow the customer business, ensuring profitable growth, excellence in operations, customer satisfaction and attracting new business streams from customers.

IN THIS JOB YOU WILL BE:

\n\nDeveloping annual customer business plans that support agreed strategies\nEnabling and managing the achievement of service performance that exceeds customers’ expectations\nPartnering with our customers by proactively reviewing and improving business processes to improve productivity and add value to DHL services\nFacilitating and leading the weekly, monthly and quarterly customer reviews\nAccountability for accurate and timely customer billing, payment of invoices, and monthly P&L reviews\nAdherence to and compliance with DHL policies and SOPs\nResponsibility for resolving customer issues as first port of call\nContinuously maintaining and developing relationships with customers\nLeading customer contract renewals including cost modelling, business case development, and negotiation\nFacilitating operational Change Requests and projects\nConducting regular operational performance reviews and identifying opportunities\nSupporting the warehouse operation, driving continuous improvement & cost down opportunities\n\n

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

\n\nStrong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated strengths in presentation, negotiation and influencing.\nDegree qualification in Business, Management or Supply Chain would be advantageous\nExperience with managing client expectations and performing to SLA’s\nOpen and effective communication skills – verbal and written, as this is critical to the success of this role\nProfessionalism in presentation – dress and manner when meeting, and liaising with Clients\nAdvanced PC skills within the Microsoft Office suite\nThe ability to influence, lead and motivate across all levels and parties\nThe ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities effectively and professionally\n\n
