Account Manager – Advanced Performance Materials
The Advanced Performance Materials (APM) business at Chemours is a vital part of solving the world’s most challenging problems, creating a better, more capable future for all. Chemours is seeking a passionate, motivated, and solution-driven Account Manager to join our high performing team! This position will be part of the sales function and report directly to the Americas Sales Leader – Advanced Performance Materials. This position will be based out of Mexico and will service the Latin America region. This position is a highly visible, key role within the company as we drive a commercial excellence culture.
About the Team:
The APM global sales function is a key enabler of driving growth for the organization. We have Account Managers focused on building and maintaining business with existing customers, some focused on managing relationships with our channel partners, and others finding opportunities with prospective customers. All of these roles are supported by and work seamlessly with phenomenal sales operations and customer service teams to help day-to-day operations run smoothly.
What you will be doing:
As an Account Manager, you will focus on growing and retaining an existing book of business, primarily for existing product applications. You’ll nurture deep and lasting relationships, developing a robust understanding of your customers’ needs, and identify risks and opportunities.
As an Account Manager, you will:
Retain & Support – Protect existing book of business and retain revenue book by driving retention strategies and addressing customer requests promptlyGrow & Win – Identify opportunities to gain share of wallet and grow revenueUnderstand & Adapt – Understand how customers use Chemours products and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities through solutions and in-depth knowledge of key decision makers, influencers, coaches, and detractorsBuild & Nurture – Build strong customer relationships with key accounts to position Chemours as the customer’s trusted partner through exceptional serviceSolution & Team – Team with Product Managers, Technology Services, R&D, Marketing, and other relevant functions to bring the best solutions to the customerLearn & Grow – Build and share an in-depth knowledge of Chemours’ products to effectively communicate Chemours value proposition to customersPlan & Manage – Drive revenue by identifying and qualifying leads, close opportunities and manage an active 24-month sales pipeline at existing customersPredict & Forecast – Communicate key drivers of customer demand and update accurate forecasts consistent with market indicators while monitoring purchases relative to forecastsPartner & Negotiate – Draft, negotiate, and close contracts with customers, driving strategic pricing outcomesYou are:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or science related disciplineEnglish ProficiencyDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.comStrong oral, written and interpersonal skills including a polished phone and email presence, must be able to establish credibility with customers virtuallyWilling to travel 0-10% (dependent on local COVID restrictions)Highly motivated and dependablePreferred Skillsets:
