Iron Mountain is seeking a proactive Account Manager, Government Solutions to join our Government Solutions team for North America.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer loyalty, retention, and revenue growth by ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and building strong, strategic client relationships.
This critical role is a key member of the National and Vertical Sales team, partnering with Directors and Account Executives (AE) to support all service lines and manage customer success within assigned accounts.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic customer relationships, partnering with key decision-makers to understand their business objectives, structure partnership strategies, and ensure superior customer satisfaction.
Business Opportunity & Growth: Assess customer needs for Iron Mountain products and solutions, developing account strategies and business plans to drive "wake-up" opportunities, particularly in accounts with a low Share of Wallet.
Contract and Compliance Support: Assist the sales team by creating and managing proposals, quotes, Statements of Work (SOWs), and account plans, and supporting the contract renewal process when necessary.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting National/Vertical Sales accounts and service lines in a customer-facing role.
Strong knowledge of organizational information management needs, industry trends, and the competitive environment.
Proven ability in stakeholder management, employing methods of persuasion to solicit agreement and explaining the value of total solution offerings.
Demonstrated proficiency with tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC) to proactively uncover customer contacts and key decision-makers.
