Account Manager, Data Center Sales

As our Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving sales growth and strengthening Danfoss’ presence in the data center market. You will be responsible for building trusted relationships, increasing share of wallet, and identifying new opportunities that directly contribute to our mission of enabling smarter, more sustainable energy use

The Account Manager owns the sales growth and relationship of assigned accounts—planning, coordinating, and executing all sales efforts to achieve ambitious targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences

You’ll collaborate closely with our customer service, engineering, and product teams, taking ownership of key account activities, opportunity management, and customer engagement strategies. In doing so, you’ll help move us toward a more efficient and sustainable future—where Danfoss continues to lead in powering the data centers of tomorrow.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Lead sales initiatives to drive targeted growth in the data center market by identifying and closing net new opportunities aligned with Danfoss’ strategic goals.

Support customers and internal stakeholders through value-based selling, professional needs analysis, and business reviews that strengthen partnerships and deliver measurable outcomes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including customer service, engineering, pricing, and quality—to ensure seamless communication, technical support, and customer satisfaction.

Use expertise in sales processes, CRM tools, and market insights to improve customer engagement, track performance, and influence business decisions.

Continuously learn and share knowledge of industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to enhance Danfoss’ market position and deliver long-term value.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the data center market.

Proven ability to navigate and succeed in a global, matrixed, or complex organizational environment.

Strong self-management skills with the ability to work independently from a remote/home office while reporting to a US-based supervisor.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically (regional) with occasional international travel.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to build strong client and cross-functional relationships.
