In a nutshell
We’re expanding ADP’s footprint in the Nordics and are looking for a Field Sales Manager to win new customers in the mid-market segment (350–2,000 employees at HQ), with a primary focus on Sweden and Norway. This is a true new business role where you’ll run end-to-end sales cycles, build pipeline, and close complex opportunities in a challenging way.
What makes this role different: the Nordics sits within ADP’s Emerging Markets business. That means you get the pace and ownership of a scale-up environment—building market presence, opening doors, and finding creative ways to win—while having the backing, credibility, and resources of a global industry leader.
The role
You will own new-logo sales for ADP’s Payroll, Time & Attendance and HR solutions, engaging senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT. Typical sales cycles are 8–12 months, with negotiation and decision-making involving multiple stakeholders (often HR, CFO/Finance, IT, and local leadership). Because ADP is still growing in the Nordics, you’ll need to be proactive, sharp in prospecting, and comfortable challenging the status quo to create opportunities and convert them into wins.
Key duties / responsibilities
Build and execute a territory plan aligned with Nordics strategy and targets (Sweden/Norway focus) Identify, target and engage with multinational (mid-market) prospects using a structured outreach and account-based approach Create pipeline through prospecting, networking, partner routes (where relevant), and events Lead the full sales cycle: discovery → business case → stakeholder alignment → solution design → negotiation → close Run high-quality discovery to uncover business drivers and risks (compliance, visibility, process efficiency, integrations, security/privacy) Collaborate with pre-sales and internal specialists to shape a solution that matches the prospect’s requirements and operating model Present and position ADP’s value with a clear ROI narrative tailored to HR/Finance/IT stakeholders Maintain CRM hygiene: accurate forecasting, next steps, stakeholder maps, and deal governance in line with ADP sales process Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to the market: test new angles, open doors, and find smart ways to win new logos in a growing region
Experience & capabilities
B2B new business sales experience (typically 5+ years) in SaaS / payroll / HR tech / ERP / business services—or similar consultative solutions Proven ability to sell complex solutions with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles Strong skills in prospecting, account planning, and building pipeline from scratch Confident in executive conversations with CHRO/HRD, CFO/Finance leaders, and IT Comfortable with structured sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, etc.) Fluent in English and Swedish or Norwegian (written and spoken). The other Nordic language is a plus Self-starter energy: you like ownership, pace, and building something, not just inheriting a book of business
What we offer
A rare mix of scale-up ownership in the Nordics, backed by a global leader in payroll and HR Competitive salary and benefits, including performance-based incentive Coaching, enablement, and mentoring to support your development and progression at ADP The opportunity to qualify for our annual President’s Club and other recognition programs A collaborative culture with access to specialists, marketing support, and proven sales frameworks You´ll work in a highly competitive team that are happy to collaborate
