Based in Milan.
Responsible for maintaining existing client relationships/ portfolios with accountability for client retention as well as new business development. The Account Executive will manage and develop client and WTW relationships, and service and grow the portfolio within the business unit. The role will also be responsible for targeting and converting prospects. The principle accountability of the position is to put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business.
Responsibilities:
Day to day client service, addressing requests and queries from the client, insurers and other third parties, communicating by voice as well as email (including advice on cover, contract reviews, placement of cover under the client’s global programs, negotiation and arrangement of local policies as required, issuance of evidence(s) of insurance and ongoing servicing following placement Understanding the client’s business and risk management needs and delivering them through the provision of ongoing service Understanding the client’s global insurance program and utilizing them in accordance with the client’s insurance and risk management philosophy Maintenance of information on the client database Preparation of market presentations / underwriting submissions as required Interpretation and review of quotations, to ensure fit for purpose and meet client demands/needs Negotiation of terms and cover alterations with insurers and presentation to the client Completion of reports as required Completion of summaries of insurance for all interested parties (client / network) Attendance at key client and market meetings Working with clients, insurers to address and resolve issues Liaison with other divisions/offices of WTW to access specialist expertise and provide local servicing where needed.The Requirements
Educated to degree level Fluent in English (oral and written)Comprehensive technical knowledge of insurance in order to deal effectively with client needsEffective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the client and insurers Ability to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, representing the Business Unit and the wider Group with a high level of credibilityExcellent client focus with proven experience of delivery of high levels of direct client serviceAbility to analyze situations and provide recommendations to identify optimum solutions for clientsGood understanding of the processes that support the operating model and strategy for the Business Unit and WTW overallExperience of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service deliveryIntermediate level of IT systems (as a minimum Microsoft Office)Intermediate knowledge of data analysisGood presentation skills
