The opportunity...We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive the expansion of our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software solutions into the UK manufacturing market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead our market penetration efforts in a key growth sector, working in an entrepreneurial environment to establish and grow our presence.
The Account Executive is a position within the sales organization responsible for growing new business and quota attainment within a set group of prospect accounts. In this role, you will be engaging with your given account territory while adding insight and value through all client interactions. Through this business development relationship, you will uncover, qualify, manage, and close new business opportunities within your given accounts.
We are looking for an ambitious, resilient, persistent, driven person who is also relationship oriented, organized, confident, goal oriented, optimistic and smart. It is important to have a value-added mindset and be willing to continue to learn and be curious.
You'll create impact by:
• Achieve quota through new sales with each prospect account. Lead a portfolio of prospects to achieve long term success.• Outbound prospecting for new client acquisition in the given territory.• Use insight and perception to navigate the software sales process successfully.• Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.• Set and supervise sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.• Work with sales team, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all sales, company, and client needs are met.• Close sales by building rapport with prospect; explain product and service capabilities; ask pertinent discovery and qualification questions, overcome objections from prospects.• Strive to build, maintain, and create strong customer relationships.• Project Manage the procurement process for our prospects to allow for urgency and predictability.
Your success is grounded in:
• Experience within sales, Account Management or other proven experience within the UK manufacturing sector.• Proven experience with CMMS software• Desire to continually grow and improve • Strong Critical Thinking & Problem Solving• Software – Ability to use CRM (Salesforce.com), Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Company Information Database/Wiki, team chat, & online video conferencing tools.• Have excellent communication and negotiations skills and be customer service oriented.
