**Job Description Summary**
The Account Executive is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales quota in assigned territory by developing new business opportunities and selling Parata portfolio of solutions into the retail and community pharmacy market through decision makers at the customer level. Assigned territory can be within one state or across multiple states as defined by the company. Develops and manages relationships with key decision makers (KDM) and thought leaders (TL).

**Job Overview**
The Account Executive is responsible for driving sales and sales strategies for new and existing customers in the **retail and community pharmacy market** . You will prospect, build, and nurture strong relationships with pharmacy owners and pharmacists to position **Parata solutions** effectively, driving sales growth and exceeding quota within your assigned territory. You are responsible for improving customer value and happiness by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives.
**Requirements**
+ **Hunter mentality:** Proactively seek out and develop new customer relationships through aggressive prospecting and lead generation campaigns
+ **Account strategy development:** Develop and implement strategic account plans to improve growth and profitability within assigned territory
+ **Sales process focused:** Execute a consultative sales approach, guiding prospects through each stage of the buying process
+ **Customer Relationship Development:** Own the customer relationship and build strategic partnerships as a trusted advisor
+ **Customer engagements:** Participate in tradeshows and customer-facing events to support business development and sales initiatives
+ **Performance:** Consistently meet established monthly and annual sales quotas
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree required.
**Experience**
+ 5-10 years successful medical equipment sales (capital is preferred)
+ Experience working with privately owned businesses or healthcare practices preferred
+ Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality required
+ Strong negotiation and contract negotiating skills
+ Ability to effectively manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and close
+ Solid understanding of the pharmacy industry preferred
**Other Requirements**
+ Travel up to 75%
+ Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards
**Territory**
Assigned territory will include parts of NY, CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, and ME.
