Key job responsibilities
• Use your influencing and relationship-building skills to prospect, penetrate and develop executive-level relationships with clients, uncovering the business needs of Amazon's clients
• Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers
• Drive deals to closure in a new business environment
• You influence how decisions are made by leading with data, and are focused on understanding how Amazon's products and tools can help build relevant advertising solutions for our customers
• Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients
• Utilize sales CRM to measure progress against pertinent sales activities and opportunities
• Understand and learn about the e-commerce industry and competitive environment, including competitor product offerings
• Collaborate cross-functionally to create and execute advertising plans for different types of businesses
Key job responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Business Development
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, identifying new business opportunities, and building strategic growth plans that drive significant YoY revenue expansion across partner portfolio and new business acquisition
Strategic Client Leadership
• Excellence in C-level relationship building and account penetration, with demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar partnerships and securing executive buy-in for strategic investments
Product Expertise
• Strong consultative selling approach backed by deep knowledge of Amazon's advertising solutions, competitive landscape, and ability to translate complex product offerings into compelling business value propositions
Deal Management & Execution
• Track record of leading high-value, complex deal cycles from prospecting to close, while orchestrating cross-functional resources to drive partner adoption and revenue acceleration
Data-Driven Sales Strategy
• Exceptional ability to leverage data and analytics to build compelling business cases, identify upsell opportunities, and create strategic account plans that drive sustained revenue growth
Client Success & Growth
• History of expanding client relationships through account management, proactive opportunity identification, and proven ability to position solutions that address critical business challenges
About the team
Being successful on this team requires the ability to:
-Drive advertising revenue within Sponsored Ads and DVA, Video solutions
-Ability to identify revenue trends through data and create actionable steps to optimize growth
-Understand, adopt, evangelize, and communicate the Amazon Advertising product suite and capabilities
-Work across internal and external teams to execute campaigns; successfully navigate and leverage internal tools and resources from pre- to post-sale
-Host and facilitate monthly/quarterly business review with internal stakeholders/Partners/Clients
-Understand retail dynamics and how Amazon Advertising solutions affects long term growth for advertiser partners
-Understand digital advertising and retail metrics, in order to direct next steps with advertising partner accounts.
