You’ll be building tailored insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes. This role will be based out of our **Burnaby Still Creek** head office location. Apply anytime—we’re always looking for ambitious, sales-driven individuals to grow with us! **Responsibilities** + Recognize and actively pursue new business opportunities + Conduct market research on prospects + Remain current on business issues pertaining to prospects + Network + Follow up on leads + Generate new business revenue by selling insurance coverage to clients + Manage pipeline of candidates through the use of CORE system + Maintain existing book of business + Provide highest standard of client service + Be flexible to the needs of each client + Be up-to-date on all current coverage available + Be proactive in foreseeing and meeting the needs of each client + Attend client meetings in Coastal trading area + Attend and actively participate in industry and company events/meetings + Continue professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities + Other duties and responsibilities as required **Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications** + 5+ years of Commercial Insurance experience + Proven experience in sales process and account management + Level 2 General Insurance License + Recognized industry certification preferred (CAIB, CIP, CRM, BCIT Risk Management, etc.) **Where This Can Take You** We invest in our employees!
