Job Description

Summary/Objective

The Account Coordinator manages clients’ needs and develops strong relationships through delivery of high-quality customer service. Acts as liaison between clients and internal cross-functional teams. Ensures the timely and successful delivery of our solution(s) per customer needs and improves the entire customer experience through teamwork and proactive customer service.  

Fundamental Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to members, client groups, brokers, and providers via phone and email.Operates as the point of contact for assigned client groups and brokers.Complete monthly/quarterly responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner.Ensures the timely and successful delivery of company’s solutions according to customer needs.Liaises between the clients and internal teams for solutions.Maintains a working-level understanding of the benefit products.Attend department or company meetings and trainings as required.

Job Functions

Conduct portal trainings to educate client groups on how to navigate the online portal.Maintain accurate company information and associate distribution lists in the online portal.Use attention to detail to catch errors and inconsistencies in data.Answer incoming calls for the provider and benefit departments and add call notes to the portal.Provide members with ID cards, plan information, and assist with understanding of coverage requested via phone and email.Provide excellent customer service to client groups by providing claims data, invoices, enrollment reports, ID cards, call records, plan information, and other data that may be requested by phone or email.Assist providers with member eligibility, benefits, and claim status by phone and email.

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position occasionally requires overtime.This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for a total of 40 hours per week.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $18 - $20. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
