Accommodation Vessel Manager (Offshore)

Airswift is looking for an Accommodation Vessel Manager (Offshore) to work in a contractor (12 months, with a strong possibility of extension) position in Georgetown for an oil and gas company.
An Accommodation Vessel Manager oversees daily vessel operations, ensures crew welfare, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports offshore project execution. Their responsibilities span operations, safety, personnel, compliance, technical upkeep, and commercial performance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee day-to-day operations of the accommodation vessel, ensuring it supports offshore activities efficiently.
Act as Company Rep onboard to ensure efficient and effective communications are maintained throughout between installation, vessel and project teams
Coordinate with offshore installation teams, charterers, and authorities to ensure smooth operations and vessel scheduling.
Plan and manage voyage operations, and logistics, ensuring the vessel remains positioned and fully functional near offshore installations.
Monitor and optimize operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Ensure strict adherence to international maritime regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
Ensure adherence to implementation of safety and emergency procedures, conduct drills, and maintain emergency readiness.
Manage the onboard crew, including hospitality staff, technical crew, and marine personnel.
Oversee crew changes, training, welfare, morale, and competency assurance.
Facilitate effective communication, conflict resolution, and alignment with company values and safety culture.
Accommodation vessels (floatels) primarily serve offshore workers; therefore the manager ensures:
High?quality living conditions, including cabins, catering, recreation, and hygiene.
Coordination of hotel?type services onboard (laundry, galley, housekeeping, recreation).
Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment that supports worker productivity and wellbeing.
Ensure technical integrity of accommodation systems are maintained by vessel: HVAC, power generation, water systems, life?support systems, dynamic positioning and safety equipment.
Monitor vessel equipment condition to ensure fully operational, and where necessary ensure vessel are managing breakdown and corrective maintenance.
