We are currently seeking an Accident Benefits Adjuster to join our team in Alberta or British Columbia, Canada. This field position allows candidates to be located in any city within Alberta. The successful applicant will play a key role in evaluating loss claims, with a particular emphasis on accident benefits claims through thorough and comprehensive loss investigations. Additionally, candidates should be eligible to apply for a multiple adjuster license.

Minimum 2 years functional/technical experience in an insurance environment, knowledge of accident benefits or bodily injuryIdeal candidate will have a medical insurance knowledge, specializing in motor vehicle claims, physical therapy or any medical claimsPolicy interpretation and experience, making recommendations to the marketHas an active adjuster license or is working towards a CIP and/or FCIP designationStrong report writing skills Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growthReviews and analyzes experts’ reportsSelects and directs independent expertsIdentifies and pursues subrogation opportunitiesSecures and manages litigation disposition plans and budgetsDetailed recording of file activities and transactions in both Crawford and Company and client-based systemsMaintains accurate expense accountsWork with manager to maintain client relationAbility to liaise and work with all facets of the insurance community including brokers, risk managers, legal counsel and regulators
