Access Optimization Analyst II
**Responsibilities:** + Manages Epic change management requests while maintaining the ongoing relationship between the Epic IT department and its direct application customer. + Supports physician practice integration into front-end Epic systems including discovery, design, implementation, and optimization. + Consults and provides guidance for Epic workflows, scheduling templates, and scheduling questionnaire and / or decision tree build adjustments. + Builds relationships internally with the Institute gatekeepers and management and externally with the Epic consulting team to ensure updates are applied and rolled out successfully. + Leads change requests: Analyzes all possible impacts that will result from the requested change. + Verifies Institute gatekeeper change approval. + Validates requested changes in production. + Verifies accuracy of questionnaire flow after implemented change. + Leads Epic testing and validation efforts. + Conducts additional QA for appreciative inquiry. + Other duties as assigned. **Education:** + Associate's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. + High School diploma/GED and seven years of related experience can substitute Associate's degree **Certifications:** + None required. **Complexity of Work:** + Solid understanding of workflows in the ambulatory environment. + Ability to lead, motivate, influence, probe, analyze, synthesize, and articulate complex subject matter so it can be easily understood. + Provide critical thinking for the execution of patient access operations. + Assist managers and leaders to fulfill the role of change sponsor. + Provide direct support to front-line managers and supervisors as they help direct reports through change transitions + Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans. + A high degree of self-motivation, versatility, and flexibility. + Experience and comfort working at all levels of a health care organization. + Strong analytical, presentation, and communication (both verbal and written) skills. + Demonstrated leadership, team, organizational, and problem solving skills. **Work Experience:** + Three years of Epic system experience in an outpatient setting (preferably in an academic medical center) OR three years supporting Epic applications that includes optimizing. + Two years of experience as an Access Optimization Analyst I preferred. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. + Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. + Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $30.41 Maximum hourly: $46.38 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
