Main responsibilities:

Scope & Impact:

Designs and delivers software solutions that accelerate research workflows and enhance data analysisEnsures the scalability, maintainability, and reliability of the systems developedContributes to the technical vision within a project scope while aligning with the broader engineering strategy

Prioritization & Execution:

Translates requirements into high-quality, performant codeCollaborates with peers, product managers, and scientists to ensure timely deliveryOwns technical decisions and ensures effective execution of assigned workValues unowned or less visible work that enables the team to move faster

Technical Excellence:

Develops strong technical expertise in domains relevant to R&D innovationUpholds high standards in software engineering, testing, and documentationAdvocates for best practices and contributes to team-wide technical standardsBuilds and maintains modern microservices and cloud-native applications

Collaboration & Contribution:

Works closely with teammates and cross-functional partners to solve problemsSupports team initiatives by contributing to shared codebases, tools, and processesEngages in code reviews, mentoring opportunities, and knowledge sharingCommunicates clearly and proactively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

About you

Soft & Behavioral Skills:

Your background:

5+ years of experience (or equivalent knowledge). If you feel qualified, apply regardless of years of experience!Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is a plusExperience in an innovative, fast-paced environment

Technical Requirements:

Experience with one or more of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar)Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (Node.js)Proficiency in React or similar frameworksExperience with microservice architectures, API design, and cloud security best practicesFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps principles
