The 10 Week Accelerate Internship Program consists of: 

Learning the ins and outs of your department Professional development workshops Hear from our leaders to learn more about our business Network with our senior leadership team  Visit our field operations to learn how your team influences our daily operations   

WHAT YOU’LL DO:   

Work with our engineering teams that are building exciting digital customer experience’s to solve for real world challenges be it not waiting in line to rent a car or enabling self-service options to enhance the rental journey  Interact directly with Engineering leaders and Solution Architects to understand and implement solutions for technology transformation outcomes You will be working with latest digital technologies – Angular, React, Java and NodeJS on AWS platform with Kubernetes orchestration 

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS: 

Pursuing a 4-year degree in Computer Science or another related field  A detail-oriented mindset and way of working Solid business communication skills The ability to work in a fast paced corporate environment The ability to work 35 hours a weekExperience writing and debugging software products  Experience coding in any language  Understanding of relational databases  Desire to work within a team of engineers at all levels of experience  Desire to dig into the finest details of software systems to find and solve problems  Experience working with cloud environments, such as AWS, is a plus   Experience working with Java and nodeJS is a plus   Good written and spoken communication skills  

The hourly rate for this position is $35 an hour.
