ACAS Systems Administrator

Position Responsibilities:

Information risk mitigation through the proper security, monitoring, sustainment, and operation of Security Center servers and logs in NIPRNet, SIPRNet, both physical and virtual, using the full capabilities of the ACAS system.

Identify vulnerabilities, secure, sustain, monitor, and operate ACAS Scanner servers located within the CONUS theater.

Maintain ACAS Agents, conduct ACAS Agent scans and differential scans in accordance with DISA best practices.

Work with subscriber sites to prepare for the Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) process. 

Maintains integrity of the operating system environment, as relating to SecurityCenters and Nessus scanners.

Reporting Compliance data to higher command in response to CTO’s and Taskings.

Maintain effective communications with IT administration teams for Cloud and on premise server support.

Associating Nessus scanners to the appropriate scan zones and repositories.

Provide Multi-Tiered ACAS administrator support.

Troubleshoot application errors, operating system(s), server hardware, network communications and storage allocation issues within the ACAS environment.

Utilize diagnostic tools and logs to trace and resolve technical problems.

Utilize the Atlassian Suite to track and resolve problems impacting continued system operations and make recommendations for any corrective actions required.

Review system logs to determine scanning issues and recommend corrective actions.

Continuously assesses current ACAS implementations for scans, assets, analysis and permissions

Assist in the installation/maintenance of configuration files, custom scan policies, plug-ins, certificates, DISA STIGs and checklist configuration audits and other such files necessary to add vulnerability discovery capabilities into the ACAS system

Plan, coordinate, and document the use of revised/updated procedures, processes, and best practice methods for the operations and maintenance of the ACAS infrastructure and the scanning of customer environments.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Prior to start of employment you must possess one (1) professional certification identified in DISA IASE IAT Level II DoD 8570.01 Approved Baseline and one (1) Cyber Security Service Provider baseline certification.

DISA ACAS certification.

Familiarization with the Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) process.

Knowledge of VPN and Active Directory functionality.

Excellent team skills, must be thorough, must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal.

Understanding of how machines (PC's and Laptops) are imaged, basic authentication and IP CIDR ranges.

Ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment.

U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret clearance.

Ability to diagnose and triage desktop software and hardware issues.

Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
