Travel: No Job Title: ABAP Platinum Consultant Experience: 10 to 15 Years Location: Anywhere in India Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled ABAP Platinum Consultant with extensive experience in SAP ABAP development, solution design, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP modules, strong coding expertise, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions in complex SAP environments. This role involves hands-on development, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of complex ABAP solutions across various SAP modules. • Develop custom reports, interfaces, forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms), BAPIs, IDOCs, BADIs, User Exits, and enhancements. • Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing ABAP programs. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level ABAP developers. • Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to analyze business requirements and recommend technical solutions. • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards. • Develop and maintain technical documentation for solutions delivered. • Integrate SAP with third-party systems using technologies like PI/PO, ALE, RFC, and Web Services. • Lead efforts in system upgrades, migrations, and support projects. • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, including S/4HANA and Fiori development frameworks. • Engage with clients for pre-sales, requirement gathering, and solution architecture discussions. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. • Strong expertise in classical ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP. • Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP ECC, and preferably SAP S/4HANA. • Proficient in developing SAP Forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms) and Reports. • In-depth knowledge of interfaces (IDOCs, BAPIs, RFC, ALE). • Experience in performance tuning and debugging complex ABAP code. • Exposure to SAP workflow, SAP Scripts, and enhancement frameworks (BADI, User Exits). • Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori is a plus. • Experience in integration technologies like PI/PO or RESTful APIs is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proven leadership and mentoring experience. • SAP certification in ABAP or related technologies is preferred. **Get empowered by NTT DATA Business Solutions!** **We transform.
