Represent and advocate for Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Test Center Combat Air Force test and modernization effortsProvide strategic advice and technical expertise on Air National Guard Combat Air Force (CAF) Force Structure to the Director, ANG Forces at Air Combat Command, and to the ANG Advisor to the Director, Plans, Programs, and Requirements at Air Combat CommandParticipate in the ACC and the NGB Combat Air Force Program Objective Memorandum process, and provide technical advice and historical perspective to ACC/CG staff and to NGB/A8P staff membersRegularly interface with the ACC and NGB CAF Program Element Monitors (PEM) to track and provide guidance on program cost, schedule, and capability developmentActs as the focal point on all ANG CAF modernization and sustainment programs, and works across the ACC and NGB Directorates to negotiate, coordinate, and integrate modernization and sustainment effortsSupport AATC interface with NGB/A5 and supporting development of the NGREA spend plan in support of CAF modernization and AATC Test and fielding of new capabilitiesSupport and participate in the ANG Requirements development and validation processDevelops and maintains long range USAF-wide CAF programming and forecasting projections to better prepare ANG Senior Leaders to build future programming and budgeting estimates and to help prioritize CAF modernization programsWorks across ACC, AFMC, and NGB to promote the interchange of information on requirements, capabilities, and technology developmentTo be successful, this position requires:
Extensive USAF Fighter experience; preferably F-15, F-16, F-22, or F-35Extensive knowledge of ANG CAF Force Structure (to include Intel, Cyber, RPA, Rescue, and Fighter force structure)Extensive understanding of AF, ACC, and NGB A-Staff structure and how they interact (experience on ACC or NGB staff preferred)Thorough knowledge of the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Test Center, the ANG CAF Weapons and Tactics Conference, and the National Guard Reserve Equipment Account (NGREA) appropriationThorough knowledge of the USAF Test enterprise and how AATC interacts with and supports the overall USAF CAF test and modernization effortsThorough knowledge of the Strategic Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (SPPBE) process, how ACC and NGB develop their respective Program Objective Memorandums, and the broader HQ USAF POM development and submission into the Presidential Budget submissionThorough knowledge of the USAF and ANG Requirements development and validation processBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR
