Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.  Global Services EMEA is the Johnson & Johnson finance center in Europe, delivering compliant financial services to Johnson & Johnson affiliates across the EMEA region. Global Services EMEA is recruiting for a Senior Manager within the Cluster Finance Managers (CFM) team, located in Prague, Czechia. This position would support our EMEA MedTech and Vision business plus our local Global Services organizations. **The Responsibilities & Impact YOU Will Have:** **Base Business** + Drive excellence in service delivery of the CFM team supporting MedTech commercial EMEA plus our local Global Services organizations. + Monitor and facilitate month end, quarter end and year-end close activities + Provide timely analysis and interpretation of regional results, along with the overseeing of financial and operating reports (US GAAP) and balance sheet reviews to provide a basis for management planning and operating controls + For CFM processes, ensure SOX compliance is always paramount, in order to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings; identify and quantify financial and operational risks and opportunities + Provide support to process teams to resolve raised A2R issues + When involving multiple GS processes, provide orchestral services (act as PMO) to bring vital teams together to support BUF on business initiatives + Lead and collaborate in GS process improvements and other projects including digital innovation like intelligent automation, UiPath, Alteryx, etc. **Building and Strengthening Meaningful Business Relationships** + Foster and manage key business partner relationships with senior leaders of finance teams within the region (e.g. BUF, GS, MTPO, etc.) + Build trust and meaningful relationships with GS process teams based in Prague, Manila, and Bengaluru ensuring accurate and compliant financial statements **Inspiring People Management and Development** + Leadership in fostering a culture of curiosity and growth mindsets + Lead CFM team ensuring effective performance management within team + Manages the day-to-day operations of the team including work allocation, task prioritization, establishment of timelines and other related activities + Performs managerial duties including hiring, following 5 Conversations, disciplinary actions, workforce planning, etc. + Actively champion and encourage the development of the employees to upskill in areas across digital proficiency, leadership, people management and development. + Drive to lead and involve self in various GSF-wide initiatives (e.g. talent councils, digital opportunities, GS model improvements, etc.) + Build a trusting, collaborative, and ethical work environment that positively contributes to employee engagement and retention + Empower people to be authentic and act with speed, agility, and accountability enabling them to achieve their goals, change the status quo, adapt to change and generate innovative solutions **Success Fundamentals** + Leverage an agile, forward-thinking approach and lead by example + Be a steward of the GS interaction model and ensure strong collaboration and adherence among GS, BUF and other partners + Understanding and managing the full E2E spectrum of GS processes and interconnectedness of complete organization; identifying and developing plans to mitigate risks and gaps found + Strong, foundational accounting knowledge + Ensuring team has strong overall knowledge of finance WWPs and compliance requirements + Champion an environment of collaboration, innovation and sharing ideas **Travel** + Minimal travel; up to 5% within EMEA **Qualifications** **We're excited to hear from YOU, do you possess the following skills and experiences:** **Qualifications** : + Degree in finance and accounting related fields + Preferred qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent **Languages** : + Fluent English, confidence in presenting to senior management in English + Other languages of EMEA countries preferred but not required **Experience Required:** + 10+ years job experience in different Finance functions including preference for shared service operations + Strong working knowledge of accounting foundational principles, concepts (both US GAAP and local GAAP) + Strong people/team manager skillset and experience is required. **Competencies & Skills:** + Ability to analyse and prioritize workload, deliver timely, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment + Strong team leadership skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required + Proven business partnering skills (with local EMEA markets) DE&I Statement For more than 130 years, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) has been a part of our cultural fabric at Johnson & Johnson and woven into how we do business every day.
