Main responsibilities:
General Ledger Management: Perform monthly/periodic account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Fixed Asset Accounting: Supervision of undercurrent and judgmental activities in Fixed Asset register, in collaboration with Regional Hub.
Inventory Accounting: consolidate and review data for capitalization of variances.
Compliance and Controls: support Head of A2R in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and internal control framework, maintaining documentation of accounting processes and control activities.
Process Improvement and Projects: participate in process design and optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting and Analysis: support in preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Italian requirements.
About you
Experience: experience in accounting, financial reporting, or similar role, Experience in a multinational corporate environment is preferred.
Soft and technical skills: Knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP (FI/CO modules), Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling, Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and internal controls. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail, accuracy in data entry and financial reporting, flexible to handle new assignments and willingness to learn, effective communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, capability to explain technical accounting matters to non-financial audiences, excellent organizational and time management capabilities, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines, attention to detail while maintaining efficiency, capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Languages: Fluent in Italian (written and spoken), good command of English for business communication.
