A. Marketplace Consultant, Strategic Account Services
Description Over 300 million customers shop in Amazon's store, browsing and purchasing products from third-party sellers—our clients—alongside Amazon's own offerings. Since 2000, Amazon has provided this virtual shelf space to businesses of all sizes, helping them reach customers, build brands, and grow. The Strategic Account Services team maximizes the potential of each Amazon Seller through data-driven strategic consultancy. We address all marketplace facets—International expansion, Portfolio Optimization, Fulfillment, Product Presentation, Promotions, Advertising, and Brand Building—while solving pressing operational challenges. You'll receive comprehensive onboarding and training for the role, including how to leverage AI tools in daily work to streamline tasks and enhance productivity. As a Marketplace Consultant, you independently manage your own portfolio of Sellers. You drive their growth and satisfaction by working backwards from their targets and developing joint roadmaps. You proactively identify untapped potential through analytical insights, recruit and onboard new Sellers, and help launch the program in your country—navigating ambiguity and coordinating across teams. WHERE WE NEED YOUR EXPERTISE: · Seller Portfolio Management: Simultaneously manage a portfolio of up to 15 Sellers to develop individual strategies, manage timelines, expectations and owning communications. · Run Business Analyses: Produce profound business recommendations and actionable insights by using a wide set of analytical tools to interpret customer data. · Consultancy: Draw on your current expertise enriched with Amazon knowledge to align our solutions with Selling Partners' goals. Guide partners through identified opportunities and their potential business impact · Support Execution and Operational Troubleshooting: Be a proficient sparring partner to your selling partner guiding the execution of strategic plans, answer ad-hoc questions, and help overcome operational and subject-specific challenges that appear along the way. · Build relationships: Gain the trust of each managed Seller through close collaboration, in-person visits, and delivering results. Use this trust to build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders. · Coach: Dedicate time to educate each Selling partner about Amazon’s solutions and news to enhance each Selling partner’s knowledge about Selling on Amazon. · Recruit: Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective clients based on a clear understanding of our sellers and their needs. · Business Reviews: Prepare and present performance deep dives to facilitate a monthly discussion around business progress, current challenges, and strategic plans with your Selling partner. · Become an Expert: Own a specific subject within our organization with the goal to support peers, invent processes/tools to the benefit of our internal and external stakeholders, e.g. Branding, Fulfillment by Amazon, Hiring, Tools, Deals and a lot more. · Develop specific local requirements to ensure that standardize processes are adapted to the needs of Sellers in this country. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include further pay components such as a sign on payment and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements. Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms, including pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, MultiSport card, employee discount code and program (EDC/Extras), commuter benefits where applicable, and the Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well-being). The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 8 417 monthly. About the team You'll join a new, dynamic team that's building momentum across the region. Your immediate team is split between Poland and other European countries (e.g. Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg), giving you exposure to diverse perspectives and ways of working. The role includes participation in team offsites where the team comes together to align on strategy and build connections. You'll also take part in knowledge-sharing sessions and project meetings, with regular travel opportunities that let you collaborate face-to-face with colleagues and partners throughout the continent. This setup gives you both the stability of a local base and the energy of a pan-regional operation. Basic Qualifications - Excellent English and Polish communication skills - Work experience in consulting, key account management, advertising sales, B2B, digital retail / ecommerce, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Supply Chain Management or similar - Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a similar program - Strong analytical skills allowing the interpretation of data sets with AI, MS Excel, and others - Well-founded knowledge in strategy development and execution - Proven ability to successfully attract, manage and interact with clients independently, particularly at the executive level. - Ability to multi-task and to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment - Superior presentation skills to inform and influence stakeholders Preferred Qualifications - 1-4 years of on-the-job experience - Experience in startups, marketing, supply chain, consulting, or similar fields - Prior experience working directly with clients - Data analysis experience Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
