The AMT will be doing AOG aircraft work on Bombardier products.Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar positions)Comply with environmental health / safety policies and proceduresTroubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraftPerform and document work completed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredAssist in other maintenance disciplines – Avionics, Structures, Composites etc.Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installationsReturn aircraft to service after maintenance at off-site locationsAudit your own location and truck monthlyPerform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QAPrimarily North America, within base of operation as per location listedPotential to travel multiple weeks at a timePossible days where there might not be work (still get paid on a normal workday)Expected to be On CallWill be provided an MRT truck or rental car depending on location of base of operationrates are standard + an MRT premiumQualificationsYou must hold an A&P license by the FAAMinimum 3 years of AMT experience, including 1 year of Bombardier aircraft experience (Challenger, Global)You own basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of toolsYou must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidaysYou must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outsideYou must have the ability to be available for considerable travel with 2 hours’ notice, to include extended assignments lasting up to 30 days.You must have a valid drivers’ license and be able to maintain insurable statusYou have ability to work unsupervised and aloneYou possess a valid passport with the ability to travel internationallyYou have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)You have the experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedureAdditional InformationHere’s a quick overview of the next steps:
