Job Title: A&P MechanicJob Description

We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic ready to take the next step in their career with a successful and established General Aviation maintenance operation. The role involves not only performing maintenance but also leading and mentoring other mechanics within the Airframe and Engine repair departments. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a Maintenance Manager/Director of Maintenance role while retaining hands-on responsibilities.

ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance on aircraft within the General Aviation operation.Lead and mentor a team of mechanics in both Airframe and Engine repair departments.Conduct engine repairs and airframe repairs, occasionally working on Avionics for ICONs.Demonstrate willingness to perform hands-on mechanical work alongside leadership duties.Essential SkillsA&P license8+ years of aircraft maintenance experienceExperience with aircraft, maintenance, and inspection authorizationMentoring and teaching skillsLeadership abilitiesAdditional Skills & QualificationsInspection Authorization, or working towards one2+ years of elevated responsibility in a lead or supervisory role preferred5+ years of recent General Aviation experienceWillingness to work towards a leadership role while still performing mechanic dutiesWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The maintenance operation supports a flight school and focuses primarily on engine and some airframe maintenance for private customers. This is one of the few shops that specializes in repairing ICON amphibious aircraft.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
