**Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic ready to take the next step in their career with a successful and established General Aviation maintenance operation. The role involves not only performing maintenance but also leading and mentoring other mechanics within the Airframe and Engine repair departments. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a Maintenance Manager/Director of Maintenance role while retaining hands-on responsibilities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance on aircraft within the General Aviation operation.
+ Lead and mentor a team of mechanics in both Airframe and Engine repair departments.
+ Conduct engine repairs and airframe repairs, occasionally working on Avionics for ICONs.
+ Demonstrate willingness to perform hands-on mechanical work alongside leadership duties.
**Essential Skills**
+ A&P license
+ 8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
+ Experience with aircraft, maintenance, and inspection authorization
+ Mentoring and teaching skills
+ Leadership abilities
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Inspection Authorization, or working towards one
+ 2+ years of elevated responsibility in a lead or supervisory role preferred
+ 5+ years of recent General Aviation experience
+ Willingness to work towards a leadership role while still performing mechanic duties

**Work Environment**

This is one of the few shops that specializes in repairing ICON amphibious aircraft.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Bremerton, WA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
