Aviotec, a fast-growing aircraft maintenance provider based in Sarasota, FL, is seeking a motivated and qualified Aircraft Mechanic to join our team.

This role focuses on servicing a variety of piston aircraft and ensuring all work meets FAA and manufacturer standards.

ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively on technical issuesPerform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on piston aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, FARs, ADs, and manufacturer guidelinesEnsure aircraft are returned to service in airworthy conditionPrepare and maintain accurate documentation, repair records, and required paperworkKeep work areas clean, organized, and safe to maintain a professional environmentComplete work efficiently and on schedule, maintaining high standards of qualityResearch and request necessary parts to meet repair timelinesReview service bulletins, service letters, and ADs to support estimates and maintenance decisionsRequired SkillsPiston aircraft maintenanceA&P certification (Airframe & Powerplant license)Inspection Authorization (IA) knowledgeTroubleshooting and repair expertiseExperience with aircraft such as Cessna, King Air, Falcon, and corporate aircraftLine maintenance proficiencyQualificationsPiston aircraft experience requiredCertified A&P mechanic with hands-on troubleshooting experienceAbility to work at heights and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and lifting equipmentJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
