Role Overview

Safety First: Conduct thorough pre-start inspections on trucks and equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Master Operator: Proficiently operate large mining trucks, demonstrating skill and precision in all hauling operations. Tech-Savvy Navigator: Utilize onboard systems such as Modular for navigation and tracking, ensuring accurate and efficient route management. Team Player: Collaborate effectively within a crew, maintaining communication via two-way radios to coordinate with dispatch and enhance operational efficiency. Safety Advocate: Adhere to mine site safety protocols, contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Skills & Qualifications

Automotive Expertise: Strong background in operating heavy-duty vehicles, particularly large mining trucks. Technical Proficiency: Competent in using onboard systems for navigation and tracking. Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with mine site safety protocols to ensure compliance and safety during operations. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively use two-way radios for coordination with team members and dispatch.

Education & Experience

Certification: Haul truck operator training certification required. Experience: Proven experience operating large mining trucks is essential.
