Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated General Education Teacher to implement the daily instructional plans for a 6th-grade classroom. The teacher will create a positive learning environment, support student growth, maintain effective classroom management, and collaborate with school administrators and staff to promote student success.
Responsibilities
+ Teach core 6th-grade subjects following district curriculum
+ Implement instructional plans and adapt lessons for student needs
+ Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth
+ Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and staff
+ Support student safety, engagement, and academic achievement
+ Follow all district, state, and federal education policies
+ Utilize Ed Plan for documentation and reporting
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher (required)
+ Valid state teaching certificate (or out-of-state certificate in good standing; must complete reciprocity for SC if applicable)
+ 1+ year of teaching experience (preferred)
+ Ability to interpret instructional plans and communicate with school stakeholders
+ Basic math competency
+ CPR (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest-X-ray (as required)
+ Current health certificate (as required)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years old
