DESCRIPTION:
This is a technical, administrative, professional, and supervisory position within the Division of Information Technology, Bureau of Distributed Infrastructure.
This position is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems and software for the agency.
This position leads, supervises, and mentors direct reports within the ITSM Software/SharePoint/Web team.
Maintains, develops, supports, and documents the AHCA Internet website and SharePoint environments.
This position works with other IT staff and project teams to complete work tasks and projects, communicates effectively and clearly, and works to resolve all technical issues assigned.
Translates technical requirements into functional solutions and works to ensure Agency technology standards, and industry best practices are utilized and implemented and works to ensure all solutions meet Information Technology standards to ensure reliability, data integrity, data validity, usability, maintainability, and security.
This position completes work request tickets and troubleshoots issues identified by the business customers and technical staff.
Upgrades, maintains, and supports the AHCA Internet website and SharePoint servers and the SharePoint application. Responsible for keeping the servers patched, organized, and configured according to industry standards. Monitors the performance and space allocations to ensure continued service.
Ensures quality outcomes. Ensures the Internet website and SharePoint platforms meet the necessary security requirements.
Facilitates meetings to form a collaboration between the business unit and technical staff.
Works with the business unit to define business needs and help create functional solutions.
Provides development training and guidance to Agency’s user community.
Writes technical documentation to support training sessions with agency staff.
Works with business unit staff and site managers to ensure that the content meets the defined IT standards which ensure reliability, data integrity, data validity, usability, maintainability, and security.
This is a supervisor position responsible for employee hiring, communicating, motivating, training, evaluating, planning and directing; developing performance planning, performance evaluations, position descriptions, and timesheet maintenance; developing and communicating strategic plans; reporting observations and results back to the team and management; and working together to create a positive work environment.
Researches new tools and technology to support the Agency Internet website and SharePoint environments.
Acquires new technical skills and knowledge of industry standards by obtaining certifications, taking training, and attending conferences.
Transfers knowledge and technical skills to the ITSM Software/SharePoint/Web team, project managers, application developers, and other IT staff.
Uses the new skills and knowledge to improve current processes and to resolve problems.
This position has been identified as mission-essential.
The incumbent in this position may be required to work during the weekend or on holidays.
In addition, mission essential personnel will be required to work during disasters, to include but not limited to, work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
Emergency work may involve the incumbent working in another county or staffing location to assist other State Agencies with emergency work.
Emergency duties may include, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Skilled in web content management systems and static websites.
Skilled in Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Online.
Working knowledge of HTML, HTML5, and CSS.
Work Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Working experience with ShareGate.
Ability to write technical documentation.
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Knowledge of IT Service Management.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Prior experience with Microsoft Office software suite.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of one year of work experience in Information Technology or a related technical field.
A minimum of one year of work experience in Microsoft SharePoint development.
A minimum of one year of work experience in website maintenance and design.
