Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive 5S Program Lead to champion cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across our facility. This role is essential in driving consistency and safety in high-traffic areas such as warehouses, maintenance shops, loading docks, mechanical rooms, and shared office spaces. You’ll also play a key role in supporting our asset tagging initiative in collaboration with the CMMS team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and sustainment of 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across:Warehouses, maintenance shops, loading docks, mechanical roomsCopier rooms, conference rooms, kitchen equipment storage hallsEnsure all spaces are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary suppliesRemove clutter and waste to maintain a safe, efficient environmentDevelop and enforce standardized organizational practices across facility areasCreate and maintain visual management tools (labels, signage, floor markings)Conduct regular audits to ensure 5S compliance and continuous improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancementsSupport asset tagging efforts by ensuring equipment is properly labeled and trackedHelp establish consistent standards for equipment identification and placementPartner with maintenance and operations teams to ensure tagged assets meet compliance and usability standardsQualifications:
Proven experience implementing 5S or lean methodologies in industrial or office settingsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and lead cross-functional initiativesFamiliarity with asset tagging systems and facility management practicesExcellent communication and documentation skillsAssociate’s Degree requiredIdeal Candidate Traits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
