Direct Hire position$30.00 to $35.00 /hourThird ShiftPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and automated systems.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Install, align, and maintain production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and recommend long-term solutions. Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.Use PLC interfaces and diagnostic tools to assess and resolve equipment control issues.Calibrate sensors, control devices, and monitoring systems used in automated packaging lines.Lead or assist in equipment upgrades, retrofits, and facility improvement projects.Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and work orders.Comply with all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.3rd Shift - Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a high-speed packaging or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and OEM manuals.Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
