POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

 

POSITION:Kniferoom Attendant

DEPARTMENT:Purchasing

LOCATION:Ottumwa

SALARY CLASS:Non Exempt

 

Principle Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for maintaining the Knife room / storeroom area in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Responsible for collecting, and redistributing supplies to employees. Sharpening, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining all knives.Provide backup for Store Room Attendant.Perform various duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

 

Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational, time management skills. (Bilingual skills helpful)Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to work under pressure.Great customer service skills.High School degree or equivalent requiredGood attendance record (Less than 3 points, for internal candidates)
