SUMMARY:

Primary focus is on supporting operations and Edge Andersen Equipment Solutions internal machine build group. This position will be responsible for preparing & machining parts from various materials with CNC controlled mills and lathes. This will be a straight 1st shift position with some flexibility in start stop times.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Fabricate machine parts and weldments leveraging Mastercam SoftwareCut and prep. Various materials for MachiningMachine parts on manual mills and lathes as requiredPrioritize work to meet customer deadlinesParticipate in design reviews with Machine Designers and peers in the shopStrong focus on customer serviceUnderstand safety rules and procedures to safely perform all tasksKnow and practice respectful workplace behaviorSupport a culture of best practice on 5S and overall shop safety

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

2 - year technical degree in CNC Machining.3d Cad modeling software understandingProficient at print reading and tolerance interpretation.Mastercam software experienceStrong understanding of metrology and how it applies to machining.Excellent communication and customer service skillsStrong computer skills in required applications, Outlook, Word, Microsoft Teams Etc

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY

Must be able to stand for 8 hoursMust be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.Some heavy lifting required at low frequency. Some heavy lifting required to replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc., at low frequency. COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $35.85- $44.82 hourly.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
