Scope of Responsibility:
This position performs production within prescribed codes, and according to prescribed procedures, specifications, and drawings. The 3DLP Operator should be able to identify sections to be worked on and learn basic fit up. Must complete 3DLP Trainee program.
Essential Duties:
Basic computer skills can pull up 3DLP programs matching the section being worked on.Can square shaft ends prior to calibrating the cameras to the targets.Set up, operate and load mechanical rollers.Tack parts in correct locations/within Sabre tolerances.Mark out thru-plate display for cutting.Can place targets in the appropriate locations for the program to properly display images of parts in the correct locations.Can identify and compensate for twist when placing targets.Can match traveler to section and program being used.Can identify material grade being worked on.Uses measuring tape, level, square, and angle finders to measure distances and angles. Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides feet, inches, fractions, and decimals. Uses table to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.Wears protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, insulated welding gloves, welding cap, leather sleeves, and/or cape, and welding hood for protection against hot metal, arc rays, grinding debris, and other potentially.Regular and on-time attendance.Work in your shift as scheduled.Must be able to log in and out of MES correctly.Having a good attitude with coworkers.
Position Requirements:
· Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Experience: 3DLP Trained
Skills & Abilities:
Must have knowledge of basic shop mathematics, addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication, and decimalsProficiency in reading complex prints and specifications - EnglishRead and write - English
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand 100% of scheduled shift. Lifting, pushing, prying, and dragging heavy materials.Must be capable of bending, stooping, crawling under and over, and occasionally climbing on stairs and ladders of heights up to 6 or 7 feet.Abnormal level of noise due to grinding, chipping, and hammering requires always wearing hearing protection (ear plugs).Must possess adequate dexterity and stamina to effectively sustain expected production requirements.Must be able to work in fast-paced work environment.Must be able to lift to fifty pounds.Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, and managing of materials.Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and a safety-minded individual.Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures.
