Your Role

As our next Additive Manufacturing Technologist, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our organization’s success. What you'll do:

Sets up 3D printers, including loading/unloading material spools, filling resin cassettes, preparing software programs, scheduling jobs, and sending prints to various machines using multiple technologies. 

Cleans, washes, and prepares parts for post-processing, following standard procedures. 

Performs daily and scheduled machine maintenance, including cleaning, preventative upkeep, and minor repairs, in accordance with safety and quality standards. 

Executes secondary processing such as media blasting, sanding, and general assembly. 

Maintains a clean and organized work area through 5S and general facility upkeep. 

Troubleshoots equipment and print issues to ensure optimal machine performance. 

Collaborates with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet customer requirements, including referencing CAD models in Creo or Solidworks. 

Handles occasional administrative tasks such as inventory management, material ordering, and part packaging. 

Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs. 
 


 
What we're looking for: 

High School diploma or GED. 

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair 3D printing equipment. 

Self-starter with excellent communication and teamwork skills 

Working knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting as it relates to printing systems. 

Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, CAD models, and measurement methods. 

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word. 

 
 

Nice to have

2+ years of hands-on experience in 3D printing, additive manufacturing, or related fields. 

Coursework or certification in Design or Manufacturing with a focus on 3D printing. 

Familiarity with FDM and SLS additive printing technologies. 

Basic CAD skills for model interrogation and manipulation. 

Experience in manual machining including mills and lathes

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $25.00 to $34.00 per hour plus overtime. Individual pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.  While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.

To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
