Position Purpose
Mercy Care is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable 340B Program Administrator to lead and manage our 340B Drug Pricing Program. This role ensures compliance, drives program optimization, and supports our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care to underserved communities. The Administrator will serve as a subject matter expert, overseeing contract pharmacy relationships, analytics, and regulatory adherence while mentoring staff and supporting business development.
What You Will Do
Lead 340B program operations, ensuring compliance with HRSA, OPA, and Medicaid regulations.
Oversee internal and external audits, HRSA recertification, and child site registrations.
Manage contract pharmacy relationships and third-party administrator (TPA) software.
Analyze financial performance, prepare drug spend forecasts, and support revenue optimization.
Collaborate with pharmacy, finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate billing, inventory, and data integrity.
Train and mentor staff, lead quality improvement initiatives, and implement new technologies.
Monitor drug procurement, pricing exclusions, and shortages to ensure cost-effective alternatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in retail or hospital pharmacy, with direct 340B program experience.
Preferred: Business operations, analytics, or revenue cycle experience.
Licensure: 340B operations certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire); pharmacy technician licensure preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office
