Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated 310T Truck Mechanic to join their Maintenance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and heavy equipment, contributing to a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

 

Our client sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America, ensuring these valuable resources do not end up in landfills or go to waste. Their advanced recycling stream gives new life to metal materials, supporting a circular economy and a cleaner planet.

 

310T Truck Mechanic
Location: Toronto – Steeles and Weston Road 
Shifts Available: Day and Afternoon Shift

# of Openings & Shift : (1 needed Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm) and (1 needed Monday to Thursday 2:30pm to 12am and Fridays 12pm to 9pm) (2 positions total)

Compensation: Competitive starting wage based on experience $40.00-$46.00 DOE

Benefits : Company offers a tool allowance annually up to $250.00 and 3 weeks of vacation.

This is full time salary position upon hire.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair company trucks and trailers

Conduct preventative maintenance and CVI (Commercial Vehicle Inspection) inspections

Perform scheduled and unscheduled (running) repairs based on inspection findings

Repair forklifts, skid steers, and cranes where applicable

Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork in compliance with regulations

Manage inventory of parts and initiate orders as needed

Provide technical support to drivers and equipment operators

Requirements

Qualifications

Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification

2–3 years of relevant experience

Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Physically capable of performing demanding tasks in all weather conditions
