Job Description

Key Responsibility:

Define architecture drivers and goals for the function / sub-system with system architectBe able to recognize not optimal system architecture and propose improvementBe able to tailor processes to project need and provide process improvement proposals

 

Scope / Task Definition:

End-to-end responsibility for the System FeatureUnderstanding of Subsystem Context & external interfaces of the function / sub-systemAlign and document architecture drivers and goals for the function / sub-system with system architectDerive functional use-cases for the function / sub-system from product level use-casesCreate function / sub-system break-down structure (function architecture) - definition internal interfacesEvaluate alternative function / sub-system architectures and select winning solution + document design decisionsDefine static and dynamic behaviour of function / sub-systemAlignment with domains (mainly on interfaces)Support other analysis, like FAM, FMEA, etc.Functional Safety - Implement functional safety needs (defined by functional safety responsible) in function / sub-system architectureSecurity - Implement security needs (defined by functional security responsible) in function / sub-system architecture

Qualifications

Technical Competence:

Core experience in Systems Engineering or deep practical knowledge in regard to applicationModel based system engineering & system architecting: Lead practitionerSystem Feature development and decomposition knowhow: Lead practitionerSystem strategy for V&V: PractitionerRequirements engineering: Practitioner / exposure w.r.t applicationUnderstanding of feature based functional safety & system securityTool-chain knowhow: ExpertExperienced in modelling using SysML - Enterprise Architect / othersIBM Rational Doors Classic / DNG for requirements writing
