2nd Shift - Manufacturing Assoc Certifier
Overview The Warehouse Certifier is an integral part of Pepsi Beverages Company's operations, responsible for certifying and managing pallet inventory in our high-paced warehouse environment. The role extends to leadership, coaching, and process improvement, ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities Leadership: Step in as Floor Lead in the supervisor's absence, overseeing a dedicated loading team of 15-20 employees. Inventory Management: Maintain comprehensive records of certified loads dispatched from our facility for Direct Store Delivery (DSD). Coaching: Deliver constructive feedback and guidance to our Picker staff on optimal pallet build practices. Communication: Relay crucial feedback to the Product Availability Supervisor (PAS) regarding workflow, loading challenges, and potential opportunities for staff development. Tracking: Ensure meticulous tracking and accurate counting of every load and pallet. Pallet Management: Sustain the pace of pallet configuration, ensuring inline adjustments are promptly applied to all pallets. Resource Coordination: Identify priorities and efficiently allocate resources within the warehouse. Training and Development: Assess and bolster the skills of the Picker team to enhance productivity and efficiency. Process Improvement: Analyze warehouse operations to recommend process enhancements and improve overall performance via CI process and Warehouse Lighthouse participation. Team Coordination: Efficiently coordinate the Picker and Loader team to optimize workflow. Safety and Security: Guarantee the stability of loaded pallets through the correct utilization of load straps, fostering a culture of "stack, wrap, strap." Other duties as assigned. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $38,700 - $61,850. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications Prior leadership experience. Previous experience in a supply chain warehouse is strongly preferred. Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in MS Office is required. Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends. Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States.
