Job Title: Turret Operator

Job Description

The Turret Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating turret machines to perform a variety of machining operations including drilling, tapping, and reaming. The role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of finished parts.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate turret machines for various machining operations.Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and clamping of workpieces.Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain accuracy.Inspect finished parts for dimensions, quality, and defects using measuring tools.Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance.Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Complete production documentation and report any issues to supervisors.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or GED required.1-2+ years of experience setting up and operating machines, or 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings.Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rolling Meadows, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
